The Ironton Rail Trail is an acquired green way that spans more than nine miles, looping in Whitehall and winding through the borough of Coplay and North Whitehall Township. The wide, flat, trail is combined with easy access providing an outdoor recreational opportunity for people of all ages and physical abilities. The trail is also used for events such as historical hikes, many charitable events and various races throughout the year.
The trail is paved for biking, rollerblading, walking and jogging enthusiasts. Bridges will be restored and events will commence, as the Ironton-Rail provides another exciting recreational opportunity.
