Adult Bus Trip to Jim Thorpe - Sunday, October 11, 2026, enjoy a comfortable, hassle-free ride where we handle all the navigation, traffic, and parking. Once we arrive, the day is entirely yours. You will have hours of unscripted free time to dine, shop, and wander through Jim Thorpe at your own pace. Whitehall Residents ONLY – Limited Spaces - Leaving Whitehall Parkway 9:00am - Arriving Back approximately 5:00pm.

"Haunted Hayrides in the Whitehall Parkway" - Fridays & Saturdays: October 2nd thru October 31st 2026 - 7:00 to 11:00pm
Prepare for a month of Chilling Adventures as the Whitehall Fire Department proudly announces the return of the Outdoor Hayride Attraction featuring a Creepy Cast of Monsters, Custom-Built Scare Zones, and Dramatic Special Effects. Operating every Friday and Saturday night from 7:00pm to 11:00pm throughout October. This Long-Standing Community Tradition is designed to deliver Hair-Raising Scares deep within the dark woods of the Whitehall Parkway. 100% of event proceeds directly benefit the Whitehall Active Volunteer Fire Department Association, funding vital lifesaving gear, emergency vehicles, and continuous training infrastructure for the area's active volunteer firefighters.

Whitehall Township's Annual Halloween Parade - Thursday, October 22, 2026 - Parade Begins at 6:00pm - No Rain Date
Come Out & Enjoy Our Highly Anticipated Annual Halloween Parade! It will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, beginning promptly at 6:00 PM. This year’s Festive Community Gathering promises an Exciting Evening of entertainment for families, residents, and visitors of all ages. The Parade will be Hosted on the Whitehall-Coplay School District Campus. Attendees can look forward to a spectacular lineup featuring Creatively Designed Floats, a showcase of local Zephyr Pride, and exciting Prizes for outstanding entries. Entry to the Parade is completely FREE for Spectators and Participants. Local Businesses and Community Organizations looking to gain visibility while supporting a beloved Halloween Tradition are encouraged to explore available Sponsorship Opportunities. Whitehall Township's "Trick or Treat Night" - Friday, October 30, 2026 - 6:00-8:00pm - Raindate: October 31st
This Festive Event Transforms our ordinary town into Lively, Enchanted Avenues filled with Spooky Decorations, Glowing Jack-O'-Lanterns, and Costumed Characters of all kinds. To ensure a safe and memorable evening for everyone, the Township shares the following recommendations for Trick-Or-Treaters and Homeowners: Stay Visible: Children should carry Flashlights or Glow Sticks and incorporate reflective tape into their costumes; Travel in Groups: Younger children should always be Accompanied by a Parent or Responsible Adult; Inspect Treats: Parents are advised to inspect all candy and treats collected before allowing children to consume them; Indicate Participation: Residents who wish to hand out treats are asked to keep their porch lights turned on. Those who prefer not to participate should keep their exterior lights off.
